02.4Machining & Fabrication

Bending and forming planned from the design stage.

Cut sheets take shape through a bend sequence defined by engineering — integrated with laser cutting, welding and assembly so the final assembly arrives with the right geometry.

01Overview

Geometry starts on the drawing

In sheet metal parts, bending defines the final geometry. That is why we analyze the design with DFMAA: radii, bend sequence, reliefs and the flat pattern are defined before cutting.

Integrated with laser cutting, welding and assembly, forming lets us deliver complete components and subassemblies, with fewer supplier interfaces and less rework.

02What we deliver

Engineering applied to sheet metal

  • A

    Flat patterns

Flat part development from the 3D model, so cutting already accounts for bending.

  • B

    Bend sequence

Bend order planned to avoid interference and secure final dimensions.

  • C

    Ready for welding and assembly

Formed parts designed to fit the next steps of the workflow.

03Bending & Forming

Where we add value

  • 02.4.1

    Brackets and structural parts

Sheet components that need stiffness, accurate hole patterns and correct fit.

  • 02.4.2

    Welded subassemblies

Bent parts prepared for welding and assembly.

  • 02.4.3

    Sheet metal prototypes

Fast validation of sheet metal parts before production.

04Bending & Forming

Benefits

  • Less rework

Bending planned in the design, not discovered at the machine.

  • Consistent geometry

Sequencing and checks that hold dimensions across lots.

  • Integrated supplier

Cutting, bending, welding and assembly under the same engineering.

  • Speed

Fewer interfaces, less time between steps.

05Methods applied

Quality engineering applied at every step — from design to delivery.
